Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
These terms apply to your use of sleephz.com (the “Service”), run by SleepHz (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What SleepHz is
- SleepHz plays tones, binaural beats and soft noise in your web browser for relaxation, meditation, intention-setting and sleep. The Service is free to use.
Not medical advice
- SleepHz is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Descriptions of frequencies (such as “abundance”, “healing” or “luck”) reflect popular and traditional associations, not medical or scientific claims.
- Always talk to a qualified health professional about any health concern, including ongoing trouble sleeping. Never ignore professional advice or delay seeking it because of something on this site.
Listen safely
- Keep the volume low and comfortable, especially with headphones or when listening overnight. Prolonged loud listening can damage your hearing.
- Don't listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that needs your full attention.
- If you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, a heart condition or pacemaker, a hearing condition, or are pregnant, check with your doctor before using binaural beats or long listening sessions.
- Stop listening if you feel discomfort, dizziness, headache or ringing in your ears.
Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Don't submit email addresses that aren't yours.
Our content
- The SleepHz name, logo, design, text and code are owned by SleepHz and protected by law. You may share links to the site, but you may not copy or republish the site or its content without our written permission.
Email updates
- If you join our list, you agree to receive SleepHz emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
No warranty
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.
Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, SleepHz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.
- Some places don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Changes
- We may update the Service or these terms at any time. When we change the terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
