Healing frequencies chart by goal
| Goal | Frequencies | Why people choose them |
|---|---|---|
| Sleep | 2 Hz delta, brown noise, 174 Hz, 432 Hz | Delta matches deep-sleep brain waves; low sounds mask the room |
| Anxiety and calm | 432 Hz, 396 Hz, 10 Hz alpha, singing bowls | The best-studied area: binaural beats and calm music lowered anxiety in trials |
| Love and self-love | 528 Hz, 639 Hz, 222 Hz | 528 Hz is the “love frequency”; 639 Hz is linked with relationships |
| Money and manifesting | 888 Hz, 777 Hz, 111 Hz | Angel-number tones for abundance, luck and new beginnings |
| Focus | 40 Hz gamma, 10 Hz alpha, 741 Hz, white noise | Gamma is linked with focus; noise masks distractions |
| Letting go | 396 Hz, 417 Hz, 999 Hz | Traditionally linked with releasing fear and breaking old patterns |
| Grounding the body | 174 Hz, 7.83 Hz Earth frequency, 285 Hz | The lowest solfeggio tones feel physical; 7.83 Hz is the Schumann resonance |
| Spiritual connection | 963 Hz, 852 Hz, 1111 Hz | The “crown” and “third eye” tones, and the 11:11 alignment tone |
Meanings come from tradition, the solfeggio scale and angel-number numerology; the studies below cover only a few of these tones.

Do healing frequencies work?
Some of them have small studies behind them. In a double-blind pilot (Calamassi & Pomponi, Explore, 2019), 33 people had a slightly lower heart rate listening to music tuned to 432 Hz than to 440 Hz. In 9 adults (Akimoto et al., Health, 2018), music at 528 Hz lowered the stress hormone cortisol. Before surgery, binaural beats cut anxiety by 26.3%, versus 11.1% for plain audio (Padmanabhan et al., Anaesthesia, 2005). After a singing bowl meditation, 62 adults reported less tension (Goldsby et al., Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine, 2016).
Those studies were small, and none shows a frequency curing an illness. The honest answer: healing frequencies can help you relax, and relaxing is good for sleep, stress and mood. They're not a replacement for medical care.
What frequency heals the body?
No single frequency has been shown to heal the body. The tones most often called healing are 528 Hz (the “miracle tone”), 174 Hz (linked with easing physical tension) and 285 Hz (linked with rest and recovery). The strongest real evidence is for something simpler: calm sound lowers stress, and sleep is when the body does its repair work. That's why a 2 Hz delta beat or brown noise at bedtime may be the most useful “healing” sound on this list.
Frequencies for manifesting
For manifesting, people reach for 888 Hz (abundance), 777 Hz (luck), 111 Hz (new beginnings) and 528 Hz (transformation). A tone doesn't make things happen; it gives you a few focused minutes to name what you want, and writing it down keeps it in front of you. Our 30-Night Journal pairs a tone with a written intention every night.
How to use healing frequencies
- Pick one goal from the chart and one tone. Don't stack five at once.
- Play it low, just above what you can easily hear. Pure tones are fine on speakers; binaural beats need headphones.
- Listen for 10 to 20 minutes while you breathe slowly, journal or meditate.
- Use the same tone at the same time each day for a week, then notice how you feel.
